Swamp Strut and Live Music in Downtown Draws Crowds

May 16th brought an afternoon of good vibes, art and fun. The Southeastern Swamp Stewards held a Swamp Strut from Farmacy On Main to the Columbus County Arts Council. The mix and mingle at Farmacy On Main was catered by Chef Helen Holden of Penn’s Grill.

At the council building attendees were able to view an exhibit of songbirds by local artist, Bess Hinson Taylor. Following the strut and exhibit showing, Leland band, Astoria Bound, kicked off a live performance in The Alley, next to Collier’s Jewelers.
